I lost both of my old pet cats several years ago...
It was really upsetting because the first one who died, died alone in a vet's office in the middle of the night, and they wouldn't let us pick up his body until the next day.
When we went got him, they had had him in the freezer.
And we found a surgical tool jammed under the lid of his cardboard coffin.

Yep, it was one of those things... they look like scissors, but they use them in surgery to clamp down on things such as flesh to hold a wound open or some other implements.
